The Full Story of
JRAC Training
Jump to Rise, Aim to Conquer (JRAC) Training began in February 2024, when founder Jensen Caretti started offering small individual basketball sessions and hosted her first camp that following Summer, which was an experience that inspired her to do even more for the kids and community. What started as a few one-on-one workouts quickly grew into a full program built on player development, confidence, and mentorship. To continue expanding opportunities for young athletes, JRAC Training LLC was officially established in August 2025. JRAC Training LLC offers expert coaching from professional players, delivering training via personalized sessions, group activities, camps, and intensive skill development programs. JRAC Training is owned and operated by Jensen Caretti, with volunteer support from assistant coach Mikayla Brandon. Together, they lead skill sessions, coordinate events, and help athletes grow both on and off the court. We aim to help players turn their dreams into reality.
Basketball has always been more than just a game for me, it’s been my teacher, my passion, and my pathway to some of life’s biggest opportunities. My journey began in a small hometown where trainers were scarce and resources for young athletes were limited. I had big dreams, but not always the guidance to match them. I worked hard, learned through trial and error, and chased every opportunity I could find.
Years later, my career took me across the world to Ireland, where I played for the Swords Thunder in the Division One National League. It was there, in between practices and games, that I discovered something that would change my life: coaching. I began working with the youth in the same club I played for, teaching them skills, encouraging them to believe in themselves, and showing them what was possible through hard work.
What I didn’t expect was how much coaching would give back to me. Seeing a player’s confidence grow, watching their face light up when they hit a shot they’ve been working on, or hearing them talk about their dreams, those moments lit a fire in me. I realized this was my purpose: to share the gift God blessed me with, and to use basketball as a way to shape lives.
When I returned home, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to become the resource I never had growing up, which was a mentor who could not only teach the game, but also connect kids to opportunities, programs, and people who could help them reach their basketball and life goals. I wanted to help them dream bigger than they thought possible and give them the tools to make those dreams real.
I believe in teaching my players the importance of dreaming big, setting goals that might feel out of reach now, but with hard work and persistence, can be achieved. I create an environment of no bullying where respect is the standard, love and kindness are expected, and we celebrate each other’s growth. And I encourage every athlete to help others whenever possible, because basketball is more than a sport, it’s a community.
I want my players to walk away with more than improved skills. I want them to carry confidence into the classroom, kindness into their friendships, and resilience into every challenge they face. Because long after the final buzzer, it’s those lessons, not just the wins, that truly last.
